Yes. CookieYes's own pricing page names CookieYes Limited, registered in the UK, company no. 13074037, and WordPress.org lists its plugin with 1+ million active installations. CookieYes sells a consent management platform (CMP), the tool that shows a cookie banner and records each visitor's choice, and says it is a Google-certified CMP.

As read on October 31, 2026, the Free plan costs $0 and the first paid plan, Basic, is $10 a month per domain, billed monthly. The CookieYes review covers what each plan includes.

Billing terms to read before a trial

CookieYes offers a 14-day trial of Basic, Pro and Ultimate. The pricing page says "$0 till your trial ends", the Refund Policy says CookieYes collects payment details at trial sign-up, and the pricing FAQ says the credit card is automatically charged unless you cancel.

After conversion the charge is final: the Refund Policy says refunds will not be issued, and canceling later stops future billing but refunds nothing for the current period or for unused time.

The Refund Policy lists four narrow exceptions: a billing error, a request within 14 days of subscribing without a trial, a service outage of more than 24 consecutive hours, and a law change that bars use. The Terms ask for 30 days' notice before a term ends, and the agreement renews automatically.

Treat the trial as a purchase in waiting: CookieYes collects your payment details at sign-up, and the charge after the trial is final.

Is CookieYes GDPR compliant on its own

No banner tool settles that for a site. CookieYes's WordPress listing says installing the plugin alone does not make a site GDPR and CCPA compliant, and its Terms and pricing page say the information it provides is not legal advice. Which rules cover your site is a question for a qualified lawyer.

Not legal advice. This page is informational only. CookieYes is a technology platform that assists with compliance, and each site owner is responsible for their own.

If you want a refund promise or another vendor

CookieYes gives no money-back guarantee, only the narrow cases above. Termly says it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee; CookieYes vs Termly compares the two. Complianz says it refunds a license requested within 30 days of purchase, and its licenses are yearly. WebsitePolicies, a policy generator that includes a banner, says it refunds 100% of a purchase within 7 days.

Pick Termly for a per-website plan with that guarantee, and Complianz for a yearly WordPress license with a 30-day refund window. Pick CookieYes when the Free plan or a monthly bill suits the site and you accept the trial terms above. The CookieYes free plan page shows what Free includes without a trial.
