Cookiebot alternatives: 6 cookie consent tools priced by pageviews, sites or licenses, with free options

Last reviewed October 31, 2026

Quick answerLeave Cookiebot when your page count, not your traffic, drives the bill: CookieYes and iubenda charge by pageviews, Complianz by WordPress site. Stay on Cookiebot if a busy site has under 350 subpages across 4+ domains.

Cookiebot alternatives: how its tiers set the bill

The Cookiebot alternatives with a US-dollar price are CookieYes, iubenda, Complianz, Termly, WebsitePolicies and Osano, and each has a free option. Cookiebot sets the tier by the domains and subpages on a site, not by traffic, and a subpage is any unique URL on the domain.

As read on October 31, 2026, Cookiebot's monthly view lists Premium Lite at $10 a month for one domain under 50 subpages, Small at $20 a month per domain for accounts with four or more domains under 350 subpages, and Medium at $43 a month. For one to three domains, a small domain falls under Medium. Subdomains are billed as separate domains, and its yearly view shows no saving over monthly.

CookieYes, the first row, sits behind the Try CookieYes button on this page, which opens its plans page.

Pick CookieYes for many pages and modest traffic, Complianz for WordPress sites on one yearly license, and iubenda for a quiet site billed yearly.

Is Cookiebot free

Yes, for one domain. Cookiebot's Free plan allows unlimited users and a single domain; its card says up to 50 subpages and its FAQ says fewer than 50, so a site near that count should read both. Cookiebot says its 14-day trial of all premium features asks for no credit card.

After the trial the banner is no longer displayed unless the account upgrades or fits the Free plan, and Cookiebot says changes and logs are out of reach. Its comparison table lists consent record keeping of up to 12 months, so a site leaving Cookiebot should export its consent CSV while the trial or paid plan is active.

Pageview-priced options: CookieYes and iubenda

Take a site owner with one domain of 200 subpages and 20,000 pageviews a month, paying Cookiebot Medium at $43 a month. On monthly billing, CookieYes Basic lists $10 a month for 100,000 pageviews, Termly Starter about $14 for 50,000 banner views, and iubenda Essentials $6.99 for 25,000 pageviews. Banner views and pageviews are different meters, so those allowances sit on separate scales.

CookieYes counts a pageview whenever a page with its code loads, and offers a Free plan for one domain plus a 14-day trial of paid plans. The trial collects payment details at sign-up, and the card is charged automatically when it ends unless you cancel, where Cookiebot's trial takes no card. The plan limits are in CookieYes pricing, and CookieYes vs Cookiebot sets the two tools side by side.

CookieYes documents no import of another tool's consent records, and its log starts when its banner begins recording choices, so that owner keeps the Cookiebot CSV. iubenda Advanced includes 50,000 pageviews at $27.99 a month billed monthly, and Ultimate 150,000 at $119.99.

License and bundle options: Complianz, Termly and WebsitePolicies

Complianz sells yearly WordPress licenses: $59 for 1 website, $179 for 5 and $399 for 25, with a 30-day refund window. Termly Starter is about $10 a month per website billed annually, or $14 billed monthly, from its US price list, and Termly states a 30-day money-back guarantee. WebsitePolicies Starter is $59 a year for 3 policies and a refund is open for 7 days. The free options are compared in best free cookie consent banner.

Osano for a small team

Osano Free covers 1 user, 1 domain and 5,000 monthly visitors. Plus is $199 a month for 2 users, 3 domains and 30,000 monthly visitors, with a free trial of Plus that Osano says charges nothing if you cancel before it ends.

Stay on Cookiebot when a busy site has under 350 subpages across four or more domains, where Small is $20 a month per domain. Nothing on this page is legal advice. CookieYes is a technology platform that assists with compliance, the owner of each site stays responsible for it, and a qualified lawyer is the person to ask about your own site.
